founder of good things
Hello! I’m Chloe!
I’m so excited to bring this vision to life and share it with you. The first glimmer of what is now Good Things appeared during a very dark winter in 2021. I was the mother of a one-year-old, my husband had just left, and I had lost my job. Parenting through a pandemic while navigating heartbreak and identity loss completely knocked the wind out of me. Who even was I now? What was I supposed to be?
My Story
That period cracked me open. Along the way—through yoga and meditation, therapy and self-development, deep friendships, travel, and the daily courage it takes to parent while rebuilding—I began to piece myself back together. And though I’m still learning (always), I am so grateful for all of it. I’m grateful for the fire, and for the Good Things that were forged in it.
My story is not the worst or the most unique. Women face all kinds of shit. And yet we show up. We survive the burning messes life throws at us—and we emerge, tired but wiser. We know heartbreak, pain, and disappointment, yes—but we also know love. We know our passions, our power, and that we want more.
Good Things is a community and safe space for sharing, learning, and growing together. We exist thanks to the immense privilege of access—to technology, to self-development, to one another. And I want to acknowledge my personal privilege, too—as an able-bodied white woman—and the access it has given me. For every woman doing “better” by traditional metrics, there are many more who face greater barriers. So in this community, we commit to paying it forward. Always.
When my world fell apart, it was women who held me. They sent oils and candles and chocolate. They found me the right lawyers and therapists. They listened to my sadness, helped me breathe, and reminded me how to move again. They shared healing books and podcast episodes. They cheered me on when I could finally stand again. They told me I was worthy of joy.
These are the Good Things. Not just the gifts, but the intention behind them. The care. The village we’re all longing for.
This is it.
Good Things is rooted in a uniquely feminine perspective, but it’s open to all. If you identify with women’s experiences, or feel drawn to feminine energy—or if you’re simply curious and want to grow with us—you are so welcome here.
So: welcome. You’re not alone. You are worthy.
You deserve all the Good Things.
Love,
Chloe
